Download Version 5.3.5.38

  1. TDA204 Driver updated to v2.2.10. Improved configuration utility consistency by allowing for circuit leveling after the final potentiometer adjustments prior to null value acquisition.
  2. Eliminated false zero-axle acquisitions at startup. Resolved by updating the startup sequence.
  3. Train acquisition now suspends automatically when the TDA204 configuration utility is opened.

Version 5.3.5.37

Download Version 5.3.5.37

  1. Increased the system error log capacity to 64 KB/3000 messages from 20KB/1000 messages. Change increases operational history and is made possible by the T10 storage increase from the LX800. To support this change, the APU-102 automatically updates by a factor of 3 the configuration parameter EP > SysDiags > ErrorLog > MaxSystemLogRecords on the first run after installation.
  2. Disabled configuration of Incoming Distributed AEI. This removed the compdll.dll file error on startup. Distributed AEI is deprecated functionality.
  3. Removed Menu Item: EP > Acquisition > DistributedAei >Inbound. Removed for clarity due to disabling the feature.
  4. Removed configuration parameter: EP > Acquisition > DistributedAei > System > InboundDataManagerEnabled. Removed for clarity due to disabling the feature.
  5. Added Support for Virtual IO configurations. This includes support for Routes through route counters.
  6. Matched the Consist and Maintenance report forced reboot timeouts to 30 minutes. Consist report forced reboot previously was seven minutes.
  7.   Added simplified reporting setup structure:
    • CMTCURLC.ACC and CMTCURLC.BAT can be used for Consist reporting.
    • CMTCURLM.ACC and CMTCURLM.BAT can be used for Maintenance reporting.
    • CMTCURL.CFG contains all parameters for reporting on all 10 sessions. No editing of BAT files.
    • BAT files contain curl timeouts.
    • LX800-compatible.
  8. Added switch "ALLOW ALL LEAD LOCO REPORTING" to the T-94 configuration file. When enabled, the length disqualified is overridden in order to report the tag on the lead locomotive. Important for AEI sites that are in yards or have very slow operation and need to report the ID of the lead locomotive instead of the "000000" disqualified tag place holder.

Versions 5.3.5.35 and 5.3.5.36

Development-only releases.

Version 5.3.5.34

Download Version 5.3.5.34

  1. Three-file updates no longer write to the site notes. Instead they write to LOGS\INSTALL.LOG.
  2. Acquisition. TDA204.Digitizer.DigitizerMaxFileSizeKBytes default is 10000 (10 MB), minimum is 0, maximum is 320000 (320 MB).
  3. The TDA204 digitizer handles the case where the digitizer file size limit is reached during acquisition.
  4. DiskManager. MaxTrains default is 1000, minimum is 100, maximum is 5000. It is no longer necessary to run the MR command to change the maximum number of trains the APU102 keeps. A simple fast reboot is sufficient. If the number of trains is reduced, old trains are deleted until the number of trains is at or below the new maximum. If it is increased, all existing trains are kept.
  5. Acquisition. ACQProcess.MaxACQs default is 1000, minimum is 100, maximum is 5000.
  6. Train processor version PROC4.2.1, which includes special processing to handle the 20-axle car, KWUX 200, is available as a separate three-file update. It is automatically included when a T10 is shipped with version 5.3.5.34.

Version 5.3.5.33

Download Version 5.3.5.33

  1. Critical Update to the TDA204 driver and the related application code for better acquisition.
    • Latch before read of WDA and WDB timer values.
    • Direct couple of variables to hardware reads.
    • Improved acquisition conditions.
  2. Updated Logging for faster performance, including during acquisition. Writes most log messages to files in daily directories named D:\AEI\LOGS\YYMMDD. Log names are DEFAULT-YYMMDD-NNNN.LOG, where NNNN is the acquisition number.
  3. Log messages include the acquisition number, train number, and message type.
  4. These log directories are governed by the DiskManager.LogDaysToKeep parameter, which defaults to 30 days. The minimum is 2 days. The maximum is 255 days. Old directories are deleted when they exceed this age.
  5. ZIPTRAIN.BAT updated to collect new log files.
  6. Performance improvement for the VERSION command.
  7. Managed the three-file update size to ~4 MB.

Version 5.3.5.9

               st
      2. Changes
            A. Added IOTO010.EXE from TGEN618 for additional I/O fixups.
            B. Semaphore files now include:
AXCNVFIX.SEM cancels sequence axle conversion errors.
LLOCOFIX.SEM desensitizes cancellation logic on lead locomotives.
SEQSCALE.SEM assigns scale data to cars in order,
skipping any locomotives at the start.
SSDSCALE.SEM assigns scale data to the cars in order,
                            skipping any locomotives anywhere.
            C. Detects Windows version, running on either XP (LX800) or Windows 10 (T10).
  3. Added cmt-curl configurable consist and maintenance reporting via ftp or sftp.  This is intended to be a universal method for all our units in the future.
  4. Added ZIPTRAIN.BAT to collect trains and configuration files so that Comet can more readily diagnose issues.
  5. To add two new users for SCP, aeiSCP and aeiTransfer, do this:
        A. First extract f.bat, sshd_config, and zip.psp.
Use the following command from the APU Change prompt:
           shell add-scp-users -o
        B. Next, reboot to add the users.
Use the following command from the APU Change prompt:
           r,c
  6. The readscale.exe utility takes two arguments, the TRAINNUM.SCA filename, like 00001045.SCA for train number 1045, and the scale configuration file, like CSXSCALE.CFG, and produces the 055 file, in this case 00001045.055.
  7. The installation documents its results in the Maint Report and site notepad.
  8. Restored the original, small simulated train.
  9. Corrected defect in the DP command which prevented EarlyWarning parameters from being displayed under Session1 when the D and Enter keys were pressed.
  10. NTP errors are logged only when the error state changes so they don't fill up the log. A default NTPPARM.DAT file is created if it is missing, preventing some NPT errors.
  11. Renamed the DETECTOR1 process to DETECT1, DETECTOR2 to DETECT2, etc., up to DETECTOR10 to DETECT10, since process names are limited to eight characters.
  12. For I command, Aux 2, #3 now correctly displays the text set up in VIO.CFG.
  13. Session 10 is now accessible.
  14. Parameter loading prints "Old parameter detected", when one is obsolete.
