Overview
This page contains details on how to back up and restore your APU-102 unit.
To protect the unit from data loss, ensure that you routinely create a mirror backup (also known as a snapshot) of the T-10 software on the APU-102 unit. Do this both before and after updating the software.
Back up your parameters after any configuration change.
Use these backups to restore the T-10 software and settings in the event that the drive becomes corrupted.
Prerequisites
Before creating a backup, ensure that:
- The T‑10 is installed and running correctly on the APU‑102.
- Site parameters are configured.
Backing up parameters
To back up parameters, complete the following steps:
- Connect to the APU-102 unit.
- Enter the appropriate session number. (For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, or X.)
- Enter your password and name credentials.
- At
APU102XP:Main 1>, enter:BP. - Press Enter.
- Reboot the unit.
