Restoring T-10 Software on an APU-102 Unit

This page contains details on how to back up and restore the T-10 software on your automatic equipment identification (AEI) drive.

Create a mirror backup each time you modify the T-10 software or its parameters, such as after a software update. You can use this backup to restore the T-10 software and settings in the event that your AEI drive becomes corrupted. 

Prerequisites

Before creating a backup, ensure that:

• The T‑10 is installed and running correctly on the APU‑102.
• Site parameters are configured.

Backing up parameters

To back up parameters, complete the following steps:

1. Connect to the AEI unit.
2. Enter the appropriate session number. (For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, or X.)
3. Enter your password and name credentials.
4. At APU102XP:Main 1>, enter: BP.
5. Press Enter.
