Getting Started on SensorLink's RSM Platform

Account Set Up ==

As part of the installation and preparation for a SensorLink site, COMET Techs will name the site, connect it to RSM and create a Company Admin. (This information will be obtained from the Company contact)

The Company Admin will set up users within the Company and define their Roles (usually Maintainer), which determines what access a user has on RSM. Your email address, User Name and Password will be entered by the Admin.

Signing On to RSM

Navigate to SensorLink RSM

You will be prompted to sign in with your User Name and Password.

After you enter your information, a screen will tell you that a One-Time code has been emailed to you. Check your email for this code and enter it in the boxes on the screen. (This is Multifactor Authorization and increases the security of your account.)

Your Dashboard

After signing in, you will land on the Dashboard for your Account. Icons for AEI sites registered to your Company will appear here. This includes full-scale RailNet sites, which will be Green, Yellow, Orange or Red.

SensorLink sites are marked with a grey icon. Your company may not have any RailNet sites registered, and no colored icons would appear.

Details

If you click on the grey icon, a message with the name of the site will pop up. Click

"See Details" on that popup. This will take you to the main page for the site where you can access Equipment Moves, Details about the site and Messages that were sent to the cloud by SensorLink.

You can also access your site by selecting the “Slink Devices” button on the lefthand navigation menu.
