Getting Started on the CINQ Platform
As part of the installation and preparation for a CINQ Edge site, COMET Techs will name the site, connect it to CINQ and create a Company Admin. (This information will be obtained from the Company contact)
The Company Admin will set up users within the Company and define their Roles (usually Maintainer), which determines what access a user has in CINQ. Your email address, User Name and Password will be entered by the Admin.
Signing On to RSM
Navigate to CINQ
You will be prompted to sign in with your User Name and Password.
After you enter your information, a screen will tell you that a One-Time code has been emailed to you. Check your email for this code and enter it in the boxes on the screen. (This is Multifactor Authorization and increases the security of your account.)
Your Dashboard
After signing in, you will land on the Dashboard for your Account. Icons for AEI sites registered to your Company will appear here. This includes full-scale RailNet sites, which will be Green, Yellow, Orange or Red.
CINQ Edge sites are marked by grey icons.

Details
If you click on the grey icon, a message with the name of the site will pop up. Click "See Details" on that popup. This will take you to the main page for the site where you can access Equipment Moves, Details about the site and Messages that were sent to the cloud by CINQ Edge.
You can also access your site by selecting the “CINQ Edge” button on the lefthand navigation menu.
Railroad Equipment
The second button on the lefthand navigation is labeled “Railroad Equipment. Select this button to see a List of all movements or a list of Railroad Equipment that passed your CINQ Edge site. (The Movements list can be downloaded in Excel format.)
Track Zones
If your Admin has set up Track Zones for your site(s), you can click on Track Zone to view a list of them. Click on the blue Zone Name to see a list of Track Zone Movements or Track Zone Inventory.
When you have finished using the CINQ platform, you may Log Out at the bottom of the lefthand navigation menu.
