Version PROC4.2.0 06/02/2025
- After extraction, simulate a train to force PROCONCE.BAT to run.
Thus, to install use the following commands from the APU Change prompt.
shell p040200 -o
st - Added IOTO010.EXE from TGEN618 for additional I/O fixups.
- Semaphore files now include:
AXCNVFIX.SEM cancels sequence axle conversion errors.
FORCEP26.SEM forces passes 2 and 6 to run.
FULLPROC.SEM forces passes 3 and 4 to run if pass 2 ran,
and passes 7 and 8 to run if pass 6 ran.
LLOCOFIX.SEM desensitizes cancellation logic on lead locomotives.
LOGFILES.SEM adds file directories to the log.
SAVEPASS.SEM saves the files from each pass ran.
SEQSCALE.SEM assigns scale data to the cars in order, skipping any locomotives at the start.
SSDSCALE.SEM assigns scale data to the cars in order, skipping any locomotives anywhere. - Merged fixes from LX800 PROC338, PROC339 and PROC340.
- Detects Windows version, running on either XP (LX800) or Windows 10 (T10)
Version PROC340 05/12/2025
- Corrected SSDSCALE.EXE to account for variable length 035 records.
- Corrected SCANTAGS call, since SCANTAGS no longer takes the 035 extension.
- Pass 2 runs TRAING14.EXE instead of trying to run TRAINGEN.EXE.
- Prefers 331 Pass 1 over 336 Pass 5 on a tie.
Prefers 336 Pass 6 over 331 Pass 2 on a tie. - Reports its name as Proc340. PROC339 reported its name as Proc0338.
- Added CleanRsv.exe so that binary output matches exactly for regression tests.
- Adjacent track tag filtering corrected.
- Improved logging, including new CMP comparison log.
Version PROC4.1.1 01/23/2024
- Changed the version naming scheme
- Migrated 16 bit emulator to vDos
Version PROCO339 07/10/2024
- Keeps running after train # 1614 or 1658 is removed by the disk manager.
With PROC0338, when the disk manager removed train 1614 it would remove proc1614.exe,
and when when the disk manager removed train 1658 it would remove proc1658.exe.
The new executable names are proc14.exe and proc58.exe. - PROCO339.EXE is not deleted when train # 0339 is removed by the disk manager,
since it is named PROC letter O 339.EXE not PROC number 0 339.EXE.
Version PROC0338 04/11/2024
- No longer splits twelve axle, three platform cars into three cars.
- Restored DODX car pattern to library.
- Support for SEQSCALE.SEM and SSDSCALE.SEM.
SEQSCALE.SEM assigns scale data to the cars in order, skipping any locomotives at the start.
SSDSCALE.SEM assigns scale data to the cars in order, skipping any locomotives anywhere. - Support for FULLPROC.SEM, which tries additional processing and compares the results to see
if the resulting consists are better. This takes noticeably more time. At present, Comet
hasn't found any particular improvement by enabling FULLPROC.SEM.
Version PROC0337 07/05/2022 Reserved for development
1. Fixed: At sites equipped with dual MPRX readers configured for
modes 3 or 4, it was possible to assign RFID tags to an untagged
train that were left over from a previously tagged train.
2. Supports running of 16-bit train processing software on 64-bit
Windows installations (the emulation software itself is present
on 64-bit Comet CPU module). On 32-bit module (LX800), there are
no changes to how the train processor is run.
Version PROC0336 10/12/2021
1. Support for S9203 Railcar tags (extended axle counts and lengths)
Version PROC0335 09/13/2021
1. Support for 8-axle KRL flat car
2. Support for MTBA/MTBX passenger cars (fix EGC issue)
3. clean.bat file now removes .014 files
Version PROC0334 11/6/2020
1. Supports articulated passenger cars (Acela types).
Version PROC0333 8/7/2020
1. Supports train speeds in excess of 126 mph.
2. Supports passenger train detection via "Passengr.cfg" file.
3. If passenger train is detected, consist is generated using 4 axle
car rules. This was necessary due to extreme acceleration/deacceleration
in passenger trains.
Version PROC0332
1. Includes processing to support high speed antenna configuration.
Version PROC0330
1. Include support for long trains (>250 cars) and long cars (>255 axles).
2. Corrects issue that could cause trains to be aborted if jockey occurred on last axles.
3. Added support for desensitizing stray lead locomotive tag elimination logic to prevent
lead locomotive tags from being ignored when read in a position that exceeds allowable
range. To enable, add LLOCOFIX.SEM to the \AEI folder.
Version PROC0329
1. Early suuport for long trains and long cars. Never released.
Version PROC0328
1. Improved ITNL (inter-track negotiation logic) to handle blind spot when adjacent
track track is occupied but local track is unaware a train is there.
2. Added support for new variant of 12 and 16 axle heavy load cars.
3. Added support for CN requested AxCnvFix.Sem file (which causes axle conversion error flags
to be cleared if we can see sequence is logically correct, but we cant say what car type it is).
This typically occurs on cars in front of site when trains stop.
Version PROC0327a
1. SEQSCALE.SEM has been added by default to payload.
Version PROC0327
1. Sequence based scale logic is now added at the end of the final processing.
To engage sequence based scale logic, include the flag file SEQSCALE.SEM
Version PROC0326
1. This processing is intended for use with 5.1.1.120 or higher (but NOT 5.2.X.X)
2. AEIPROC contains all normal processing and omits all harvester processing
3. Harvesting is accomplished in HAEIPROC which should be called by the APU after
AEIPROC has finished and the train has been added to the state block
4. This version was created to fix an issue at CSX Hague site where harvesting
and detector interface was being used. The harvesting delayed the train availability
to the detector interface (causing the clients using it to not have access to the train
in a timely manor).
Version PROC0325...
1. GEHBD support was fixed.
Version PROC0324...
1. KRL/QTTX patch runs in configurations where automatic harvester detection exists.
2. Contains SP1 improvements to prevent trains from being processed when previously aborted acquisition information is present.
3. Processing manifest information is provided to support "SHELL VERSION" functionality.
4. Orientation errors are no longer declared for cars that are less than
45 feet (was 32).
5. Optionally prevents cancelation of dynamic loco tags when read too far out
front of window.
Version PROC0323...
1. Added specialty car processing.
