*Original 486SLC card
*Original USSD card
*Original COM4A card (or modify COM4N board for individual interrupts)

== Tools/supplies Required ==

*Misc hand tools
*Laptop computer with communication program such as ProComm, HyperTerminal, etc.
*Null modem cable or modem cable with null adapter (25-pin DB male on APU-102 end)
*Antistatic (ESD) wrist strap (included)
*Individual antistatic bag to fit APU-102 STD Buss cards (included)

= Upgrade Procedure =
<p>1) Put ESD wrist strap on wrist and connect to ground lug on outside bottom of APU.</p><p>2) Open the APU enclosure</p><p>3) Power down the APU</p><p>4) Remove the locking bar.</p><p>5) Remove the Pentium board and place in individual antistatic bag.</p><p>6) Reinstall the original 486SLC and USSD cards.</p><p>7) Reinstall original COM4 card or restore the COM4N card to individual IRQ configuration</p><p>8) Reinstall original IRQ cable</p><p>9) Reinstall locking bar</p><p>10) Remove ESD wrist strap.</p><p>11) Power-up the APU-102 and test.</p><p>12) Restore maintenance reporting if disabled earlier.</p><p>Comet Electronics Service technicians are available M-F, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Central Time if you require assistance.</p><p>(888) 700-4214 or (816) 245-5400</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
