View source for COM4N to COM4 Reversion Procedure

If it is necessary to revert from the network option back to standard (non-network), the COM4N must be converted back to standard as well. The network option required shared interrupts and standard uses unique interrupts for each port. The non-network version of the hardware will not operate with shared interrupts.

= Procedure to Revert a COM4N Board from Shared Interrupts Back to Individual Interrupts =


1. Remove all jumpers from J15, J16 and J17.

2. Add the following jumpers. Refer to figure 1 for location:

3. The Hardware Watchdog MUST be enabled. Verify the jumper J18 is installed.

4. Remove the COM4N ejector tab (held with press-pin) and replace with a COM4A tab or 
remove COM4N label.
